King of Wands
The Supervisor

Take charge of your situation.  Remain self-confident in all you do.  Do not look to the past or future.  Remain in the present.  Others may see you as a leader.  Follow tradition.  Surround yourself with like-minded people.  Hard work is its own reward.

The King considers all things in the here-and-now.  He has no time for idle thoughts or ideas.  His throne has lions and salamanders as decorative artwork.  They both symbolize fire as does the salamander at his feet.  The salamander is visible on his cape.  He has clothed himself in fiery symbolism.  The earth at his feet is desert sand.  There is no moisture around him.  His crown is symbolized with flames.  This is spiritual fire and his higher consciousness.  The staff, which represents active energy, shows the growth of leaves.  With fire life may evolve.
To the Queen of Wands.
