Consecration of the Wand

Take up the Wand and hold it in offering as you say...

"I come before this place
to consecrate this Wand
in the presence of the God and Goddess,
so that they may witness
and accept my offering."

IX

Hold the Wand in the smoke of the incense as you say...

"By Fire and Air,
I unite this Wand
to my soul through the Great Spirit
who makes all things possible."

Sprinkle the Sacred Water over the Wand as you say...

"By Water and Earth,
I unite this Wand
to my soul through the Great Spirit
who makes all things possible."

Kiss the Wand.

"I call upon you, Father Creator,
to bless this Wand
so that I may call upon those forces
for which it has been fashioned."

With the Wand, draw before you the Pentagram of Invoking Fire in a red flame, its glow tinted in green. Kiss the Wand. Move to the southern boundary of the circle and say...

"I call upon you, Mother Nature,
to bless this Wand
so that I may call upon those forces
for which it has been fashioned."

With the Wand, draw before you the Pentagram of Invoking Fire in a red flame, its glow tinted in green. Kiss the Wand. Move to the western boundary of the circle and say...

"I call upon you, Father Sky,
to bless this Wand
so that I may call upon those forces
for which it has been fashioned."

With the Wand, draw before you the Pentagram of Invoking Fire in a red flame, its glow tinted in green. Kiss the Wand. Move to the northern boundary of the circle and say...

"I call upon you, Mother Earth,
to bless this Wand
so that I may call upon those forces
for which it has been fashioned."

With the Wand, draw before you the Pentagram of Invoking Fire in a red flame, its glow tinted in green. Kiss the Wand. Return to your place.

XI

"As this Wand has been newly consecrated,
may it serve me in communion,
by Fire, Water, Air and Earth."

Kiss the Wand. Place the Wand back on the Alter.
