With the Athame, draw before you the Pentagram of Invoking Air in a yellow flame, its glow tinted in violet. Kiss the Athame. Move to the southern boundary of the circle and say...

"I call upon you, Mother Nature,
to bless this Athame
so that I may call upon those forces
for which it has been fashioned."

With the Athame, draw before you the Pentagram of Invoking Air in a yellow flame, its glow tinted in violet. Kiss the Athame. Move to the western boundary of the circle and say...

"I call upon you, Father Sky,
to bless this Athame
so that I may call upon those forces
for which it has been fashioned."

With the Athame, draw before you the Pentagram of Invoking Air in a yellow flame, its glow tinted in violet. Kiss the Athame. Move to the northern boundary of the circle and say...

"I call upon you, Mother Earth,
to bless this Athame
so that I may call upon those forces
for which it has been fashioned."

With the Athame, draw before you the Pentagram of Invoking Air in a yellow flame, its glow tinted in violet.. Kiss the Athame. Return to your place.
