People
have made numerous comments on the seal I use, so I'm going to explain what
the glyph represents and how I came upon it. It was during the early 90's
when I had been studying the Pentagram, and the way the elements had been
positioned. I had always been troubled by how the elements were placed, but
I was offered a new understanding which would later become useful. At the
time, I had been studying Ceremonial Magick, which I would later abandon,
because I had no use for it, when Magick should really be about what feels
natural. I had made the observation of how the Hebrew letters were divided
amongst the elements, so I organized them, according to the positioning of
the Pentagram. The remaining letters of the Hebrew alphabet would be
associated with the element, Spirit. |
Doing
this, I saw a pattern of how the letters could be combined to form barbarous
words, but the flow of the elements would still not work, so I would later
re-arrange them as they had been on the Pentagram, to fit my needs. By this
time, I had already created my own rune, but still lacked the means
for how to use them. They had no place in my system of Magick, as of yet,
and when I made the discovery of how the position of the Hebrew letters fells
against the backdrop of the Pentagram, the next choice became obvious to me.
I had always believed that the pools of energy could be invoked by colour
and sound, and that there was not an endless number of energies which
existed, but instead, a combination of what we had known. I had the theory
that the only energies which existed came through the signs of the zodiac,
the planets and the elements. This was twenty-three currents in five pools
of energy, and what I had been seeing as I lay my own lettering against the
Pentagram was a combination of these forces. |
There
were twenty-three currents, but only twenty-two letters existed, so the
forces of Saturn and Earth were placed together. For those of you who know
how Hebrew works, you'll quickly see the comparison to how my characters
have been organized. I took
this idea and used what I had discovered to generate 2,835 names which were
derived from the patterns I saw. What came of it, were the archetypes of
Spirits. All Spirits which are known to exist, whether as Angels or
something else, can be observed here in its archetypal form. For example,
the Archangel, Gabriel, has been associated with the Moon, and thus, one of
the many spirits generated with the lunar energies of my system would locate
him as the spirit, Gitechetzin. Every Spirit and every energy current can
be invoked using this process. I've named these Spirits, the Imagi. |
 As
it turns out, the more I learned using this method, the more complex the
system became, and only more questions were asked by me, of how this process
could be worked out in its entirety. The deeper I got with the spirits the
more they would become part of my life, and in doing so, they soon began
pointing out my errors and made corrections. Many of my theories had been
proven through my experiments with the Spiritia, and many things had also
been false but like a scientist I continue to test theories and perfect this
system. I based my whole spirituality around this. |
