There's been a growing interest among teens and the Occult. As the Church falls apart from the inside due to scandal people of all ages teens and adults alike have turned elsewhere looking for a new faith and belief system. Almost every day I read a new article of a teen who's turned to the "darkside" committing absurd acts in the name of a make believe Devil in rebellion against God. Usually these teens kill their parents but I've also read a couple of stories of children being abducted for Satanic rituals. Some have even committed suicide. I can't wrap my brain around the idea of how suicide and the Occult relate to each other or how these people come to this conclusion. I've always been a believer in absolute silence. We can't go back to those days when information on the Occult was kept in secret. No longer do those days exist when our spirituality was a mystery to the outside world.
I'm offended by dabblers. Many are just lost in delusion of hippie ecstasy while others find a darker path. It seems that the true Occultist remains hidden in secrecy while those who dabble have become the model for how people view the Occult in all of its confusion and lies. I hear more and more stories of people claiming to be possessed by the Devil. Even now the Vatican is preparing a new study of Exorcisms educating many in the Priesthood on the ancient practice of casting out spirits.
It seems that this world is on the brink of disaster. Can these be the end times with people turning away from the Church and the growing fascination for the Occult? Well, I can only hope so. The end times would only mean the downfall of Christianity and the institute of the Church. My only hope with these dabblers is that they return to the Church where they belong. They usually find their way back and share with their fellow Church-goers of such horrid stories of Devil worship and midnight rituals. I'm hoping that these shared tales keep other from experimenting with something they shouldn't be dabbling with in the first place. I haven't turned against the Occult. No worries there. My spirituality is the only thing which hasn't let me down. My faith and belief still remains strong.
The Occult, especially Wicca, is the growing fad. Not just in America but all over the world. I keep reading how Satanism is on the rise in Italy. If I have anyone from Italy reading these words write me and let me know what's going on. I should be thankful that these people dabble in Wicca instead of discovering the deeper secrets but I feel as if a virus was unleashed on this world which feeds us lies about true spirituality.
So why do they turn to the Occult instead of
another organized religion? Perhaps the need for spiritual
freedom if they can leave their religious baggage behind.
Perhaps it's the need to go directly opposite of that which they
have been forced to believe is wrong. It seems to be the
baggage which they carry with them that leads down the path of
confusion and lies.
