Cause and Effect
Part 3 of 3

Now let's speak of God.  How does God fall into Karmic Laws?  Does the Divine direct Karma or is it directly affected by these forces as we all are?  It's often said that when God closes a door he opens a window.  Fate, destiny and karma are often linked together usually as an unstoppable force.  What can be said about this is simple.  If Fate were a door Destiny is the lock.  Not every door is locked and every locked door has it's key.  Many people believe that Karma is God's judgment on mankind but never take into account their own actions.  I'm not suggesting that one negative action will produce a negative reaction.  It's not as simple as being black or white.  Karma has no effect from one life to the next.  Lessons are learned here and now in this present incarnation.  If time does not exist then that means that when you die you can easily be reincarnated in the past long before your present incarnation existed.  The Spirit remembers your past lives, yes, this is true, however those "doomed to repeat" a mistake are more often than not products of their own environment.  People are comfortable with the stress they create in their own lives.  With people punishing themselves why would this so-called God intervene in such affairs as punishing those who punish themselves?  Have you ever noticed that some people seem born to be victimized?

The nature of God does not exist to hand out punishment or reward for our actions.  This idea defeats the purpose of spirituality.  It's so easy to get lost in such delusions. So many false ideas come from misconceptions that the root of all solutions is over looked where myth is easily accepted and adopted by the general masses.  We are all placed in similar situations.  Our everyday perception enable us to make the correct decisions based on past experiences and common sense learned from growth and development taught to us by mentors and elders.  So where does freewill come into play.  Again, the answer is simple.  Imagine if someone slapped you.  The common assumption would be that you slap him back but doing this means that you had no freewill and only reacted in kind.  That slap places two doors before you.  This is where freewill lies.  The choice is always up to you on which door you take.  Me, I'd take the door which slaps back...however in my case the door is locked.
