Human Sacrifice

Human sacrifice.  This is the greatest of Occult taboos.  In certain parts of the world this practice still continues. Last June, India decided to ban the art of human sacrifice from its religious cults. Most people never speak openly about what they do behind closed doors. To kill another living being is the most powerful use of energy there will ever be. The Aztecs are famous for the brutality of human sacrifice they performed daily to continue their way of life. This is probably one of the oldest forms of ritual to ever exist. Certain religions advocate the use of animal sacrifice but in most cases the animal is eaten after it had been offered to God. It's not only adults who are sacrificed.  Children have also been slain for the attainment of power. The idea of a human (of even an animal) sacrifice isn't to force your will upon someone in violent brutality. The purpose is to offer the Gods (or God) a gift of self sacrifice but this only works if the victim is willing to die for his faith.  In the case of children, they're too young to know what's going on especially when they're new born.  This is a sad world we live in.

So what's my opinion on human sacrifice?  I stand against this ritual act.  I've never had a need to kill human or animal for the sake of power. I feel that it does more harm than good, especially when a child's involved. The act of human sacrifice allows the life force to explode in a single force of power but once the intent has been achieved the victim still remains dead. Where the child is concerned why should he or she not be allowed to live a full life? What accomplishments may this child have made? Perhaps a loved one may develop a disease later in life.  Who's not to say that this child would discover a cure? Life itself is a magical act. What's your opinion on human sacrifice? By the way. This article was inspired from all the articles I've recently read about children being sacrificed in foreign countries.
